Spent the weekend with some friends up north Riding horse of course. The weather was beautiful for riding, I rode Belle this weekend and she did amazing, I so wish I could duplicate her in a grullo color. LOL.  The first day we rode with Myron and Cricket and we drank some experimental Whop that wasn't to bad.  Second day it was just Eric, Annette and myself we worked on getting Twiggy through the water and after the 5th puddle she did amazing, but none of the horses thought it was to cool when a group of riders came up from behind wearing jingle bells, but we survived.  Now we have to get jingle bells.I swear its never ending.

 Well tonight the vet was out to look at Maddy's horse Coco, her legs have been swelling not sure what was wrong---well Dr thinks its Lyme's.   That sucks just when we found a good one for Madison now we have to go through this, my poor little girl.   I know I shouldn't jump to conclusions but it isn't looking good, we will no more the beginning of next week. Treatment $850 for 7 days and not guaranteed to fix her.  I will keep you posted.  Probably going to have to horse shop again:-(

Another week up north-----It was awesome, none of us ever want to come back home.  I think the horses like it better than we do. lol.  Hugs and kisses every day from little girls that love them dearly.  After camping and riding like we did now I know why I do this, the kids are growing up right before my eyes and becoming the future's horse women.  Every time we go out and ride they just become better and better and it brings tears to my eyes--because for a while I thought I would be doing this journey alone.   Now I see I will not be--taller the hill the better--the girls just giggle and I smile, because it is a wonderful thing.  Thank you GOD for all you have given us because we are truly blessed!

     No hay this weeekend.  That situation is not looking good for alot of animal owners, we are just happy we have enough in for our horses for the year already, just say alot of prayers so farmers can get crops off the field or there will be many hungry horses. 
     Worked around the farm cutting grass and weed eating---trying to spruce it up to call a realitor out---I still think Ken thinks I am not for real, but why not.   I really like it up north and you only live once and the kids are game.  Home is where your family is, Right.    We have to head up to the camper this weekend, we had to move it and the horses, now we have lots off work to do before the big holiday, to get everything ready for our week stay. Sounds like it is mainly us girls, Ken has to do an emergency bathroom makeover- I will save him a beer:-)  Happy Trails everybody and dont forget to pack your rain gear!!!

     We are definitely getting use out of our camper at our home away from home, at Nine Mile Resort.  This weekend Madison had her birthday up there--8 kids from 9 to 12 years old, and we all had a super duper time.  All the kids got to ride the horses and that was amazing in itself, little girls who never rode and horses that never had so many little riders.  They all did amazing!!! Than Monday we got to ride as a family on our own horses, not the kids riding the parents' horses lol.  It was beautiful and none of us wanted to leave, if only we didnt have to work:(   But we will be back on Friday unless hay bales are callin our names.

I know it has been a while, it is just so hard to make computer time.  I am on now cause I am not working and don't feel good, otherwise I am in the barn horsin around or running with the children.  Good news school is almost out.Yeah!!! Jada got comfirmed last weekend and guess what, my brother Bill showed up--total surprise.   It was so awesome to see him and he looked great, Diane is taking great care of him:-)   And it looks like he is kicking cancer's ass, way to go brother,  I love you.
  
Now with summer approaching we are getting ready for every weekend camping and horseback riding, we just got back from a long weekend and had a fabulous time--horses were happy, kids were happy, which makes mommy really happy.    HAPPY TRAILS!!!!

Happy Easter everybody!!!!  Praying for my brother,  I try to send him a joke every now and than in hopes he smiles.   Stay strong and keep the faith!!!  Love you lots!!!  

     Lessons went well this weekend,  Claudia and I are working through our issues.....well my issues.   This show stuff is a lot harder than it looks, but Claudia is teaching me alot, cause if I don't do it right, guess what?  She wont do it.LOL!   And I have come to realize that I am a very lazy rider.   Lazy rider makes lazy horse not so good in the show ring:-)

I so badly want spring!!!!!!   I have not even rode horse again this week,  what the heck????    Just tired I guess.    But I did get some news on my brother test results come in.    The cancer is just is his esophagus and has not spread, he has the best cancer doctors working on him and his treatments will be shortly.    Be strong brother here is a strength quote for you and Diane.   Deuteronomy 31:6  Be strong and courageous.  Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your GOD who goes with you.  He will not leave you or forsake you.

     What a crappy day!   Sun good, wind not so much.   Can u believe Spring starts tomorrow?  That means camping is right around the corner...Yeah!!!!!   Worked out at the club last night, I think I'm going again tonight it is such a good stress reliever----I need something to get through this Winter!!!!

     For Bill:  Wishing you the best of luck hope all is well haven't heard an update.  We are all thinking of you up here in the north woods,  Love you!!!

     What a beautiful day to play in the barn.    I actually rode Belle today for a lesson and she did great with her loping, but she so badly needs an adjustment.   She currently does not like our chiropractor so I am in search of another one---old friends might cross paths again and hopefully we can have a break through with Miss Belle.  Keep fingers crossed!!!  Also rode Claudia amazing leaps and bounds with her..  Thanks Jeremy for all your help---someday I might get it:-)

What a beautiful day!!!  Just got home from workout class---I love it---I feel so amazing after.   Now headed out to the barn to do chores.   Oh show was cancelled this weekend so lazy days ahead:-)

      Just got home work and taxes....FUN FUN!!!  Now out to the barn to do chores and wait for the Chiro to come for the horses.   Claudia got new shoes on today hopefully with that an an adjustment she will be a way happier little girl.   Not sure if we are going to the show this weekend have not rode all week cause of sickness and gimpy horse must mean I get to stay home and relax.  HA!HA!   I will make the decision Saturday after I ride Miss Claudia.
    
     Day 2 Prayer for Brother Bill.   Dear God please be with my brother and his family, within a few days they should find how bad the cancer is and where exactly it is and set up a treatment schedule.  Keep them strong and full of faith and let him now we are thinking about them.   In Your Name I Pray  AMEN.

     People are reading my blog:-)  Yeahh!!!!!  Where should I start,   First I am home sick and am 41 days old not so sure I like that so much.  LOL.  But I will count my blessings cause on my birthday I ran in the ditch, not so good but it could have been worse.   My car didn't break,  I didn't break and a nice man pulled me out so I didn't have to delay the mail to long.   I get home from work I find out that my older brother Bill has throat cancer and I prayed so hard to God to Be with him and his family and to keep them strong through the ruff ride ahead.  I am going to make a pact to myself right now to blog everyday to pray for him and if everyone could do the same that would be great.   So as I am crying right now for my brother cause I love him dearly and wish this wouldn't have happened, but it did so we all need to pray.    After all that turning 40 was a piece of cake, but for my brother it was life altering.   Remember I always am preaching about living your life to the fullest or what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.   Even though I cant be by my brother right now cause I am sick I want to let him now that my arms are wrapped around him giving him the biggest bear hug ever and that everyday he and Diane will be in our thoughts and prayers.  I LOVE YOU BROTHER!!!

Had my first day of a nutrition/weight loss class pretty excited about it.  My goal is to get back on track and hopefully shed 20pounds or tighten up the jiggly.  After class came home did chores and rode miss Claudia, she did pretty good, but riding in the snow is way more fun!!!!   Jada almost won her bb game three point shy--- the team is definitely improving----seasons almost over:-(

Awesome weekend of riding in the snow.   Got to use the snow in a positive way or I might go crazzzzzy!!!!

Another lovely day in Wisconsin, glad I'm not working, but wish my neck and back didn't hurt either.   Getting old sucks, looks like Advil will be my best friend for the next 50 years. LOL.   As for  the show.    I come home disappointed, Claudia come up lame going into our second class, so my riding was done for the day----bummer.   Eric did real well with miss Belle for his first show they came home with a second.  Kelly and Jessica did great for riding Western for the first time together--first and 2 thirds.   We are already preparing for the one in march hopefully it won't be below zero when we load up---or we all might need our heads examined cause we are crazzzzzzzy.   Off to rest and ice.      I am so sick of winter!  I am so sick of winter!   The only thing keeping me going is the kids and the fact I have an indoor, I truly am spoiled.   My back has been bothering me so my riding this week has been limited, which sucks cause the first show is Sunday.    Yeah!!! Pretty pumped up about it! Claudia and I have been working really hard together, so hope all goes well.
    A little off horse subject. Went and visited my cousins who are in their 80's and both recently in the nursing home, it made me miss Dad and think about him alot.    I guess that's OK, right??   Sometimes it is just difficult to see people who were once vibrant shrivel up-- realizing everyday you yourself are getting older.    Things are getting more difficult to do, the kids are passing you up and life is flying by.    Everybody just needs to STOP and breathe, look around and thank GOD for everything you have been blessed with-- hug your kids, kiss your husband, go on vacation, thank your parents for always being there.  Do something that you always are thinking but never do, because life is to busy and the day always runs out of hours.   Last but not least thank GOD  for we all have been blessed!!
