The rain has finally stopped and its actually warm out.   Everybody enjoy because below normal temps for the rest of the week.  Got to ride Belle for a bit this weekend, she did amazing, if only Jada would give her a chance they would be unstoppable......  Maybe we might have to ride for a while today as long as the weather is good.   The arena is watered and going to be dragged today we might as well mess it up. Happy Trails Everybody and live each day to the fullest!!!!!! Remember hug everyone you love and tell them always how you feel.

The wind is whistling outside, where I am suppose to be, but am clearly dragging my feet, cause I just don't want to go out there.   YUCK!!!!  I need to move some horses to winter pastures and pick up a few things.   Why is it when you think you have everything done something else pops up???  Bundle up and get outside and get it done---that is what I'm saying to myself.   One last thing hats off to all the Veterans out there, we love you and thank you for everything!!!

I am so not ready for this weather, winter is pretty and all but the transition ready sucks!!!!  Thank goodness the kids are all doing great in school and the horses are all fat and sassy. Hoping to do some winter riding in lots of fluffy snow. Oh update on Maddy's horse Coco, her limes has seem to go dormat for now thank GOD, she does show a little swelling when she is rode multiple days in a row, but other than that she has been good.

Update on my brother God bless his soul he lost his fight with cancer a few weeks ago.  The good LORD decided to take him home, now all of his suffering is no more.  Now him and our father can really catch up, drink some beer, and catch some fish:-)

When a person goes through hard times whether it is loss of loved one, loss of job, or divorce, it really makes a person step back and really,  I mean really look at their life. Maybe ask yourself, Where am I  headed and is this where I want to be?????? You might be surprised how you answer that question.   All I now is that I love my girls to pieces and want to protect them from all the dangers in life---but as a parent we can just guide them and love them unconditionally and pray that they will go down the right path or at least not stray so far:-)  Remember daily to hug all u love and make sure to let them know how much they mean to you-----NEVER EVER take your life for granted because it truly is a gift that was given to us.

The wind is whistling outside and I have a few minutes before I head off to work.  The house is so quiet, the kids are with their father this week and I so miss them.   They fill the house with warmth and craziness, which I love.   Have not been doing any riding lately just is a little to cold for me to be out there, I swear the sun hasn't been out in a week-----can be a little depressing.

For those who don't know already I have found my soul mate, didn't no this really existed until now.  It is truly amazing the feelings one person can actually feel and how people can see it shine right through ones self, it gives me the chills just thinking about it. We will from this day on be starting our adventure in life that will be amazing, I see a lot of horseback riding and traveling in the future.  I want the girls to be able to see all the things that GOD has created and if we can do that on horseback that would be absolutely wonderful.  Happy Trails to everyone and live each day like its your last!!!!

Been without a computer for a while, but back in business now.   A lot of changes in my life all for the good.  Did some horseback riding this fall at Wild Rock in Clark County, beautiful place.  Met a lot of great people.  Definitely going back.  Winter is knocking at our door and I so hate to open it, but really don't have a choice.  Busy draining hoses,, putting stuff away, moving horses around trying to prepare the best I can for the long winter ahead.   I decided when I retire I am going to be a snowbird, move somewhere warm until Wisconsin decides to warm up.lol.

I don't know if I talked about the horse that I picked up few months ago, I named him Cisco.  A beautiful smutty buckskin, 14.3 H with a golden attitude, unfortunately he got diagnosed with being neurological.  Meaning he is unsafe to ride because he really don't know where his feet are, it would only get worse, so I decided to put him down, making me .sad but also realizing it is the best for him. All I know is that an angel has one hell of a horse to ride.  Happy and sad day!!

Spent the weekend with some friends up north Riding horse of course. The weather was beautiful for riding, I rode Belle this weekend and she did amazing, I so wish I could duplicate her in a grullo color. LOL.  The first day we rode with Myron and Cricket and we drank some experimental Whop that wasn't to bad.  Second day it was just Eric, Annette and myself we worked on getting Twiggy through the water and after the 5th puddle she did amazing, but none of the horses thought it was to cool when a group of riders came up from behind wearing jingle bells, but we survived.  Now we have to get jingle bells.I swear its never ending.

Well tonight the vet was out to look at Maddy's horse Coco, her legs have been swelling not sure what was wrong---well Dr thinks its Lyme's.   That sucks just when we found a good one for Madison now we have to go through this, my poor little girl.   I know I shouldn't jump to conclusions but it isn't looking good, we will no more the beginning of next week. Treatment $850 for 7 days and not guaranteed to fix her.  I will keep you posted.  Probably going to have to horse shop again:-(

Another week up north-----It was awesome, none of us ever want to come back home.  I think the horses like it better than we do. lol.  Hugs and kisses every day from little girls that love them dearly.  After camping and riding like we did now I know why I do this, the kids are growing up right before my eyes and becoming the future's horse women.  Every time we go out and ride they just become better and better and it brings tears to my eyes--because for a while I thought I would be doing this journey alone.   Now I see I will not be--taller the hill the better--the girls just giggle and I smile, because it is a wonderful thing.  Thank you GOD for all you have given us because we are truly blessed!

No hay this weeekend.  That situation is not looking good for alot of animal owners, we are just happy we have enough in for our horses for the year already, just say alot of prayers so farmers can get crops off the field or there will be many hungry horses.
Worked around the farm cutting grass and weed eating---trying to spruce it up to call a realitor out---I still think Ken thinks I am not for real, but why not.   I really like it up north and you only live once and the kids are game.  Home is where your family is, Right.    We have to head up to the camper this weekend, we had to move it and the horses, now we have lots off work to do before the big holiday, to get everything ready for our week stay. Sounds like it is mainly us girls, Ken has to do an emergency bathroom makeover- I will save him a beer:-)  Happy Trails everybody and dont forget to pack your rain gear!!!

We are definitely getting use out of our camper at our home away from home, at Nine Mile Resort.  This weekend Madison had her birthday up there--8 kids from 9 to 12 years old, and we all had a super duper time.  All the kids got to ride the horses and that was amazing in itself, little girls who never rode and horses that never had so many little riders.  They all did amazing!!! Than Monday we got to ride as a family on our own horses, not the kids riding the parents' horses lol.  It was beautiful and none of us wanted to leave, if only we didnt have to work:(   But we will be back on Friday unless hay bales are callin our names.

Lessons went well this weekend,  Claudia and I are working through our issues.....well my issues.   This show stuff is a lot harder than it looks, but Claudia is teaching me alot, cause if I don't do it right, guess what?  She wont do it.LOL!   And I have come to realize that I am a very lazy rider.   Lazy rider makes lazy horse not so good in the show ring:-)

Quote for Bill:  Ps 107:19-20
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

I so badly want spring!!!!!!   I have not even rode horse again this week,  what the heck????    Just tired I guess.    But I did get some news on my brother test results come in.    The cancer is just is his esophagus and has not spread, he has the best cancer doctors working on him and his treatments will be shortly.    Be strong brother here is a strength quote for you and Diane.   Deuteronomy 31:6  Be strong and courageous.  Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your GOD who goes with you.  He will not leave you or forsake you.
